This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website and/or any related services, sales or marketing.

Summary

In order to manage your account:

  • We store your account information (name, email address, etc…) to facilitate login and communication essential for your account usage, such as password resets and customer support.
  • We will not pass on your contact details to any third parties outside of our control and not for account purposes.
  • Payment information is kept by our payment provider.
  • If you want us to delete your account information then you can ask us to do that via the contact form.

In order to provide the service:

  • We will store all data about requests which pass through API Middleman, including all content, headers and metadata.
  • We will store this data for up to 181 days in order to provide the service to you.
  • After 181 days, or if a deletion is triggered by you, the data for a request is deleted with the exception of non-identifying metadata, which is used for analytics purposes. No content, headers or IP addresses will be kept for deleted requests.

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information, passwords and security data, and payment information.

    How long we keep your data

    Account Information

    If, at any time, you would like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can log into your account settings and update your user account.

    Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements.

    Opting out of email marketing: You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send or by contacting us. You will then be removed from the marketing email list – however, we will still need to send you service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account.

    Data breaches

    A privacy breach occurs when there is unauthorized access to or collection, use, disclosure or disposal of personal information. You will be notified about data breaches when API Middleman believes you are likely to be at risk or serious harm. For example, a data breach may be likely to result in serious financial harm or harm to your mental or physical well-being. In the event that API Middleman becomes aware of a security breach which has resulted or may result in unauthorized access, use or disclosure of personal information API Middleman will promptly investigate the matter and notify the applicable Supervisory Authority not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it.

    Do-Not-Track

    Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
